Looking forward to the opening of Amy Dennis' first solo show at The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh on Tuesday 6th November.
Born in Warrington 1977, Amy Dennis studied at Leeds College of Art from 1995-6 and at Edinburgh College of Art from 1996-2000 (Drawing and Painting). Amy now lives and works in Edinburgh.
For this show Amy has painted views of Edinburgh incorporating foreground arrangements or studio objects. The work is inspired by modern British surrealism and is created using egg tempera on gesso.
The exhibition runs until 28th November 2012 at The Scottish Gallery, 16 Dundas Street, Edinburgh EH3 6HZ. Find out more
