We had our first visit to the Gagosian Gallery today to see 'Picasso - The Mediterranean Years'. 3D works ranging from a plywood flute-tooting faun to a Mark Hearld-ian flat faced ceramic owl sit amongst paintings, prints and drawings (did he ever stop working?). The wit and playfulness in some of the work was dulled somewhat by the dark-suited security guards looming at every turn. Well worth a visit though.
The exhibition runs until August 28th 2010 at the Gagosian Gallery, 6-24 Britannia Street, London WC1X 9JD Further information
